FOTA + Mecosta Recycles and Big Rapids Garden Club

Eco-Art competition in partnership with Festival of the Arts and Big Rapids Garden Club.

Step One:

A wooden bin is filled with metal recyclables of various types and sizes. This is depicting what Mecosta Recycles has set aside for people to use for their eco art sculptures.

Visit us for materials and inspiration.

Visit Mecosta Recycles during our public drop off times on Mondays and Saturdays between 9am and 1pm. We’ll help you find materials you can use to create your sculpture. Complete rules can be found in the FOTA event booklet on page 12.

Step Two:

A winter picture of a white fence along a road. This is depicting where the eco art sculptures will be displayed.

Submit your art.

Come back during public drop off times to deliver your sculpture. They will be displayed along the fence line on 4th Avenue. Submit with a piece of paper that lists name, age, address, phone, and email, the name of your sculpture, and a brief description, including materials used. Also attach your name, age, and title to the artwork in a weatherproof fashion.
